How To Cook Stuffed Pork Chops PERFECTLY In Just 30 Minutes

This stuffed pork chops recipe combines juicy seared pork chops with melty swiss cheese and sauteed mushrooms and onions stuffed in the middle. It's a dinner you'd get from a gourmet restaurant, yet it's so easy to make at home. In fact, you can have these baked stuffed pork chops ready in just 30 minutes!

Ingredients

Two 6oz. boneless pork chops

Salt and pepper, to taste

1/2 cup sauteed mushrooms with onions ( 1/4 cup mushrooms or 1/4 cup of sauteed onions)

1.5oz. chopped Swiss cheese

2 tbsp chopped parsley

Olive oil, for frying

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. 
  2. Pat the pork chops dry.
  3. Slice a pocket into the fat side of each pork chop. 
  4. Season the outside of the pork chops with salt and pepper.
  5. Saute the mushrooms and onions for a few minutes in a skillet over medium heat. 
  6. In a medium bowl, combine sauteed mushrooms with onions, cheese, and parsley.
  7. Fill each pork chop with the prepared mixture.
  8. Close the pork chops pockets with toothpicks. 
  9. Place the pork chops on a baking dish lined with parchment paper. Bake the pork chops for 15-20 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F degrees.
  10. Remove the pork chops from the oven and carefully remove the toothpicks.
  11. Heat a skillet with some olive oil over medium-high heat.
  12. Sear the pork chops for 40 seconds on each side. 
  13. Serve warm and enjoy!
