This chicken crust pizza has such a close texture to regular pizza, and it has a delicious flavor to it too. But, more importantly, it has 0 CARBS! However, this isn't just a zero carb pizz crust recipe, it's a high protein one too. The crust itself has over 100 grams of protein. So, if you've been looking for the best low carb, high protein, chicken crust pizza recipe, well, you've found it!

Ingredients

Chicken Pizza Crust:

1 lb ground chicken (I used 99% fat free)

1/3 cup (30g) parmesan cheese

15g 0 carb protein powder (around 2 Tbsps)

1 tsp garlic salt

1/2 tsp onion powder

3 eggs

Toppings:

1/2 cup (140g) low carb pizza sauce

Just over 1 1/4 cup (168g) mozzarella cheese (shred it yourself to save some carbs)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (205°C).
  2. Whisk eggs in a bowl and set aside.
  3. Whisk protein powder, parmesan cheese, garlic salt, and onion powder in a large bowl, set aside.
  4. Remove ground chicken from the package, pat dry, and add to the bowl of dry ingredients. Incorporate dry ingredients into the ground chicken with your hands.
  5. Add the eggs to the bowl and use a spatula to mix and work the eggs into the chicken for a few minutes (the chicken will absorb the egg and turn into an almost thick batter).
  6. Line a 14-inch pizza pan with parchment paper and pour the chicken crust batter onto it.
  7. Use a spatula to work the batter around the sheet and spread it out to make a 12-inch pizza crust.
  8. Bake for 15 minutes.
  9. Let the crust cool, flip it over it over, and add the toppings of your choice. Bake for 15 more minutes until cheese starts to melt (I like to finish it on broil until the cheese totally melts).
  10. Cut into 8 slices and enjoy!
