Air Fryer Brussel Sprouts

These air fryer brussel sprouts will change the way you look at this healthy superfood. They turn out insanely crispy with one heck of a flavor, finished off with some flakey salt and parmesan cheese. 

Ingredients

1 pound of Brussel sprouts

Olive oil

Salt

Pepper

Sprinkle of flakey salt (optional)

Sprinkle of shredded parmesan cheese (optional)

Instructions

  1. Trim the brussel sprouts and cut them in half. Soak them in a bowl of salted water for 10 minutes.
  2. Drain and dry the brussel sprouts. Toss them in a bowl with oil, salt, and pepper
  3. Add the brussel sprouts to the air fryer basket. Cook at 375°F for 5 minutes, shake, cook 5 more minutes, shake…cook an additional 2-4 minutes.
  4. Finish with a sprinkle of flakey salt and shredded parmesan cheese.
