Air Fryer Kale Chips Made In Just 5 Minutes

These air fryer kale chips are super crispy, crunchy, salty, and just so satisfying to eat. They make for the perfect healthy snack and low calorie chip alternative. And this kale chip recipe takes 5 minutes to make with just 3 ingredients!


5 Cups (about 1 bunch) of Kale

1 Tbsp. Olive Oil

1/4 Tsp. Salt

Other Seasonings (optional)


  1. Thoroughly wash and dry the kale. Cut leaves off the spine and tear leaves into pieces.
  2. Place kale pieces in a bowl and drizzle olive oil on top. 
  3. Mix around to coat the kale in the oil (using your hands to massage the oil into the leaves works best).
  4. Sprinkle salt and any seasonings of your choice on top and mix.
  5. Put the kale in the air fryer basket in a single layer - do not overlap (you may need to cook them in batches).
  6. Set your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) and cook for 3-5 minutes. Shake the basket after a few minutes and check frequently - they are done when the kale is nice and crispy.
  7. Transfer your kale chips to a plate, let them cool, and enjoy!
