Easy & Juicy Cast Iron Steak Recipe (Made In Just 15 Minutes)

This cast iron steak recipe turns out incredibly flavorful, super tender, and oh-so juicy. What's even better than how it tastes is how easy it is to make. In fact, just a handful of ingredients and about 15 minutes are all you'll need to put this incredible cast iron steak recipe together!

Ingredients

2 sirloin steaks

1 tbsp avocado oil

Salt and pepper, to taste

2 tbsp butter

2 sprigs of fresh rosemary

2 cloves garlic, crushed

Instructions

  1. Allow the steaks to come as close to room temperature as possible.
  2. Pat the steaks dry and season to taste with salt and pepper. 
  3. Heat avocado oil in a cast iron skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Place the steaks into the skillet and cook for 4 minutes per side without moving. 
  5. Reduce heat to medium-low and add butter, garlic, and rosemary.
  6. Once the butter is melted, spoon the butter over the steaks rapidly until the steaks reach your desired doneness. This basting will fill them with juices and make them super tender and delicious.
  7. Transfer the steaks to a plate and allow them to rest for 5 minutes before serving.
