Easy Gluten Free Chocolate Chip Cookies

These gluten free chocolate chip cookies are delightfully soft, chewy, and each bite is loaded with ooey-gooey chocolate chips. Seriously, after you get a taste of this gluten free cookie recipe, you won't be able to stop making it!

Ingredients

1/2 cup (100g) white sugar

1/2 cup (100g) brown sugar

1 stick + 1/8 Tbsp (115g) butter, melted

1 egg + 1 egg yolk

Just under 1 3/4 cup (205g) gluten free all-purpose flour

Vanilla extract

Just under 3/4 cup (120g) semi-sweet chocolate chips + 3.5 Tbsp (50g) white chocolate

1/2 tsp. baking soda

1/4 tsp. baking powder

1/2 tsp. sea salt

Instructions

  1. Melt the butter and add it to a mixing bowl with the brown and white sugar. Mix until foamy.
  2. Add the eggs and vanilla extract, mix again for a few moments.
  3. Add gluten free all-purpose flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Mix everything to form a dough.
  4. Add the chocolate chips and fold them into the dough.
  5. Refrigerate the dough for at least 30 minutes before baking.
  6. Preheat oven to 330°F (165°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper, form balls of dough, and evenly space on the sheet.
  7. Bake for about 8-9 minutes and enjoy!
