Gluten Free Meatballs Recipe With Gravy Included

These gluten free meatballs are impossible to resist. They're incredibly tender, juicy, delicious and come with a wonderfully rich and flavorful gravy. You'd never guess that this recipe is totally gluten free!

Ingredients

1 lb (500g) ground beef

1 medium onion, chopped and fried

3-4 tbsp Gluten Free Panko breadcrumbs

Just under 1/4 cup (50ml) Milk

1 egg

2 Tsp garlic powder

1 Tsp cumin powder

1 Tsp paprika powder

Pinch of cinnamon powder

2 Tbsp fresh parsley

1 Tbsp Mustard

2 Tbsp Olive Oil

Salt and pepper

Gravy:

4 Tbsp unsalted butter

1 Cup Beef Broth or Chicken Broth

2 Tbsp Corn Starch

3 Tbsp Cream Cheese

1 Tsp garlic powder

2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce

1/2 Tsp Dijon mustard

Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. In a bowl mix together all the ingredients for the meatballs until combined. Form them into approximately 14 meatballs.
  2. Add 2 Tbsp oil to a large non stick skillet over medium heat. Once hot, cook the meatballs (if itʼs not large enough, cook the meatballs in batches) until golden brown on all sides and remove from the skillet and cover to keep warm.
  3. In the same skillet, melt the butter. Quickly whisk in the corn starch and cook 30 seconds.
  4. Stir in the broth, cream cheese, Dijon, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder and season with salt and pepper to taste. Bring the sauce to a simmer and cook until it thickens.
  5. Add the meatballs back and toss in the gravy sauce. Cook until meatballs are heated through.
  6.  Heat olive oil in a pan and add the meatballs to the pan. Do not overcrowd the pan, and if its not large enough, cook the meatballs in batches. Brown the meatballs on all sides.
