Healthy banana bran muffins

Ingredients

  • 1 3/4 cup (100g) wheat bran
  • 1/2 Cup (40g) oats
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp (18g) sugar substitute
  • 1/2 Tbsp (5g) ground cinnamon
  • 1 Tsp baking powder
  • Pinch of salt
  • 2 mashed bananas
  • 1/2 Cup (122g) unsweetened applesauce
  • 1/2 Cup (113g) non-fat greek yogurt
  • 1 Egg & 2 egg whites
  • 1 Tsp of vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. In a medium sized bowl add
  2. (1 3/4) Cup (100g) wheat bran
  3. (1/2) Cup (40g) oats
  4. (1 1/2) Tbsp (18g) sugar substitute
  5. (1/2) Tbsp (5g) ground cinnamon
  6. (1) Tsp baking powder
  7. Pinch of salt
  8. Combine and set aside
  9. In a separate bowl get together your wet ingredients
  10. (2) mashed bananas
  11. (1/2) Cup (122g) unsweetened applesauce
  12. (1/2) Cup (113g) non-fat greek yogurt
  13. (1) Egg & 2 egg whites
  14. (1) Tsp of vanilla extract
  15. Mix thoroughly
  16. Pour wet into the dry and combine
  17. Pour batter into a well greased muffin tin and fill the tins to the top
  18. You should end up with about 7 muffins
  19. Bake at 350 degrees | 177 Celsius for 45-50 minutes
