Instant Pot Green Beans Made In Just 5 Minutes

These Instant Pot green beans are so delicate yet perfectly crispy. This tasty vegetable is a healthy and versatile side dish that you can cook in just under 10 minutes! Whether you eat them plain or with my flavorful dressing on top, this Instant Pot green beans recipe is a simple yet effective dish that goes with pretty much any meal. 


1 1/2 lb. Green Beans, trimmed and halved

1 cup Chicken or Vegetable Broth

Optional dressing:

1/2 cup Dried Cranberries

1 cup Red Onion, finely sliced

1/4 cup Apple Cider Vinegar

1/4 cup Olive Oil

6 tbsp. Sugar (or Granular Swerve)

2 tbsp. Yellow Mustard

Salt and Pepper


  1.  Cook the beans with the chicken broth (or water) in the Instant Pot at low pressure for 3 minutes. Drain after cooking.
  2. Mix apple cider vinegar, brown sugar, yellow mustard, olive oil, salt and pepper in a bowl for the optional dressing.
  3. Serve the beans with the dressing, cranberries, and red onion.


The nutrition does not include the optional dressing.
