Keto Biscuits and Gravy | One of The Best Keto Breakfast Recipes You Can Make

This keto biscuits and gravy recipe is so flavorful, so filling, and so easy to make. And when I say easy, I mean it! Seriously, all you need is 30 minutes to whip up these perfectly chewy and cheesy biscuits, and smother them in some homemade keto sausage gravy. Not to mention, each serving of this delicious low carb breakfast has just 4.5g NET CARBS!

Ingredients

Keto Biscuits:

1/2 Cup (56g) Cheddar Cheese, Shredded

1/2 Cup (56g) Blanched Almond Flour

1/3 Cup (45g) Coconut Flour

2 Large Eggs, Beaten

3 Tbsps. (42g) Salted Butter, Melted 

1 Tablespoons (4g) Baking Powder

1/4 Tsp. Salt

Keto Sausage Gravy:

8 oz. (227g) Pork Sausage, Casing Removed 

1 Cup (228g) Cream Cheese, Cubed

1 Cup (240mL) Beef Broth OR Chicken Broth

Salt, to taste

Black Pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (205°C).
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and coat it with non-stick baking spray.
  3. Make the biscuits: In a large bowl, mix the dry ingredients - almond flour, coconut flour, baking powder, salt, and cheddar cheese - until fully incorporated.
  4. Then mix the eggs and butter in a separate bowl, pour them into the dry ingredients, and mix all the biscuit ingredients in the large bowl until well-combined.
  5. Use your hands to shape the dough into 6 equally-sized biscuits, then arrange them onto the baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 15 minutes. Meanwhile, prepare the gravy.
  7. In a large non-stick pan or cast iron skillet over medium-high heat, thoroughly cook the sausage meat until browned.
  8. Then stir in the broth and cream cheese.
  9. Bring it to a low boil and reduce the heat to low. 
  10. Simmer for 5-10 minutes until the gravy thickens, stirring occasionally.
  11. Taste and season, if needed.
  12. Serve the gravy over the warm biscuits and enjoy!
