This sauteed shrimp recipe is so simple, yet it's loaded with flavor. It combines perfectly cooked shrimp with an addictively delicious garlic butter sauce that's flavored with Italian seasoning and chili flakes. Plus, the best part is that it's made with just a handful of simple ingredients, and it cooks up in less than 5 minutes.

Ingredients

5 tbsp butter

1 tsp garlic paste

1 lb. shrimps, peeled, deveined, and precooked

Salt and pepper, to taste

1 tsp dried Italian herbs

1 tsp red pepper flakes

Instructions

  1. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add garlic paste and cook for 30 seconds or until fragrant.
  3. Season the shrimp with salt and pepper and cook for 2 minutes.
  4. Sprinkle Italian herbs and red pepper flakes over the shrimps and toss until the shrimps are coated with the spices.
  5. Cook the shrimp for one minute more.
  6. Serve the shrimp warm.

Notes

If you're using fresh shrimp that hasn't been cooked, your sauteeing time will increase to about 5-6 minutes per side. You'll know the shrimp is done when the outside of the shrimp turns totally pink and it reaches an internal temperature of 120°F.
