The past few weeks I've been obsessed with these homemade cinnamon sugar pita chips. You only need 3 ingredients (4 if you count baking spray), and about 5 minutes to make them.
You guys know I love quick and easy recipes, but these pita chips are even more than that. They're portable. The other day Alyssa and I went to the movies, and I don't know about you guys, but I neeeed to have food when I go to the theatre, so I ended up bringing (sneaking in) a bunch of these. Which brings me to the next reason why I love these so much...volume, volume, volume. You get to eat a ton of cinnamon sugar pita chips, for not so many calories.
Did I mention that if you make "mini-chips" they're actually an amazing low calorie Cinnamon Toast Crunch alternative too?! Yep, it's true. If you use the ingredients I use to make them, your homemade version will be about ½ the calories of normal Cinnamon Toast Crunch (per 28g serving). And who doesn't like CT Crunch?
