Better yet, each serving is surprisingly high in protein, with over 20 grams of protein per taco, and you know that makes me happy!
By the way, since this recipe is so easy to make, I like to get kids involved in some of the prep. While I handle the cooking, I have my little chefs whisk up the cilantro lime sauce...they also love assembling their tacos too, but that's another story. They may make a mess, but the results are always worth it.

Now, I know the ingredient list for these tacos may look long, but I promise they're almost entirely made from kitchen and pantry staples. Whatever you don't have on hand, you can easily grab from your local supermarket.
So, with that said, here's everything you will need for the fish:
- 1 lb mahi mahi fillet, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- ½ teaspoon coriander
- 2 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
Here is what you'll need for the slaw topping:
- 1 cup red cabbage, shredded
- ½ avocado, cubed
- ½ red onion, chopped
- ¼ cup fresh cilantro, chopped

All you have to do is season and sauté the fish, whisk up the cilantro lime sauce, and prepare the veggie slaw. Some of the steps take a bit longer than others, but none of them are complicated or time consuming.
After that, all that's left is to pile everything on your tortillas and dig in.
Alright then, let's stop wasting time and get to it!
STEP ONE: SEASON THE FISH
You'll want to start by adding the cubed fish fillets to a bowl, then add the cumin, coriander, chili powder, olive oil, and salt. Give this mixture a toss, then set it aside so the flavors can mesh together.
STEP TWO: PREPARE THE SLAW
While the fish is resting, it's time to prepare the veggie mix. Start by finely shredding the cabbage and transfer it to a large bowl.
