    Blueberry Muffin Protein Shake

    Published: Jul 28, 2016 · Modified: May 30, 2023 · By: Joe Duff

This healthy Blueberry Muffin Protein Shake packs 30g of protein per cup, is perfectly sweet, and ultra-thick. Plus, it's made with quick, easy, and healthy ingredients!

    Humble brag...

I might have outdone myself with this Blueberry Muffin Protein Shake.

This Blueberry Muffin smoothie is just the second installment to an ongoing shake series we'll be doing on the blog and YouTube. And damn, it's gonna be tough to top this.

My original plan was to create a protein shake that tasted like a blueberry muffin. What I didn't realize, was that I'd actually come up with something even more delicious than a muffin.

    How is that even possible?!

    I still don't know.

What I do know, is that every gulp, slurp, and sip of this smoothie is packed with intensely refreshing blueberry flavor. And maybe that's the reason it's better than a blueberry muffin. Maybe it's because this Blueberry Muffin Protein Shake has the concentrated flavor of like 10 muffins. Or maybe, it's just that it's really...REALLY...hot out, and a shake is waaay more appealing than a muffin right now. Either way, it's a little taste of blueberry heaven.

Finally, there's the whole "It only takes 5 minutes to make", thing about shakes. Like I mentioned in the Banana Bread Protein Shake recipe, sometimes you just don't have an hour to bake, but you still want satisfy those baked good cravings. Protein shakes like this one, can be a perfect solution to that problem, especially when they taste just as good as the real thing.
