Eating Healthy at Longhorn Steakhouse
I love eating at Longhorn Steakhouse, so I had to come up with a healthy eating guide for the iconic steakhouse chain. There are a ton of different options here, from steak and chicken to seafood and more. I even recommended which side dishes to choose and which ones to avoid!
By the way, I used Longhorn Steakhouse's Nutrition Calculator to list all of the nutrition facts for each option. If you want to see what else the menu has to offer, you can check out the calculator. This list also features a bunch of high protein Longhorn Steakhouse orders that are low in carbs, too, making the choices even better for a healthy meal!
So, with all of that said, let's not waste another second and jump into this list of Longhorn Steakhouse low calorie options!

The caesar salad at Longhorn is by far my favorite side order. It features crunchy lettuce, croutons, shaved parm, and a classic Caesar dressing. I love ordering it with one of the steak or chicken options below. Then I'll cut up the meat and toss it in the salad. That way, I'll order the salad with no dressing to save about 80 calories.
Another of the most popular salads at Longhorn is the Grilled Chicken and Strawberry Salad with Raspberry Vinaigrette. It didn't quite make this list because it has 530 calories, but it is still a pretty healthy choice. You can even share half with a friend for a low calorie lunch!
2. Shrimp and Lobster Chowder

This creamy chowder is one of my favorite soups and, more importantly, one of the lowest in calories. It's packed full of shrimp, lobster, red bell peppers, potatoes, and corn, all topped off with chopped green onions. Perfect for a cold Winter's day when you need a little comfort food. Not only that, but one bowl of chowder also leaves you a few extra calories for indulging in one of the amazing Longhorn desserts.

This 9oz chicken breast is juicy, tender, and rubbed with the perfect combination of spices, and goes great with all of the Longhorn side options. If you are looking for the ultimate healthy dinner, order the chicken with steamed broccoli with no butter!
