The HEALTHIEST and BEST TASTING pumpkin pie recipe ever! Only 141 Calories per slice. Plus, each serving has 11g of protein. #Healthy #pumpkinpie

The Diet Chef is turning one tomorrow!

    Hooray!

I can't believe I've been doing this healthy cooking thing for a year now. Seriously, I can't.

The Diet Chef has changed so much since I came out with my very first recipe video last Novemeber...grilled cheese.

Agh, it's cringe worthy I know. I think the part where the ingredients are just sitting on the counter is so exciting, don't you? Haha.

Instead of doing the typical birthday cake recipe, I thought it'd be kind of fun to make healthy pumpkin pie. Plus, the timing couldn't be any better, it's fall, and Thanksgiving is now just a week away here in the United States.

Now, I do realize that I've done quite a few pumpkin recipes lately, but this pumpkin pie is the last one for the season. So with that being said lets go out with a bang!

    And by the way...

Thank you guys so much for being a part of my passion project. I hope you've enjoyed the recipes from year one, I sure have had fun making them for you!

Don't forget, if you make this pumpkin pie snap a pic and tag it on Instagram #thedietchef
And of course, you can always check out this recipe, and many many more on The Diet Chef YouTube Channel

The first ingredient you have listed is just 420grams, but you don't say what the ingredient is. :(

I made your banana cake but I used sweet potatoes instead - turned out amazing!!! I don't take pics because I'm not sure how to upload them to you.

How many slices are you cutting to get these macros per slice? I come from a large family & there is no standard cutting portion. In the recipe, we carefully measured everything else, now I want to enjoy, but not too much of course. Thank you.

      Hey Joe!

Baked this yesterday, and it turned out really well! Thanks for another great recipe!

Took a photo of my pie and tagged you on Instagram so you can have a look! It's not quite as pretty as yours, but hey practice makes perfect right? (As if I needed an excuse to bake this again!)

Can't wait to try more of your recipes! (Just need to find a way to fit everything I want to try into my macros, heh.)

      Cheers
      Sharon

I'm so happy to hear the pumpkin pie turned out well Sharon! I couldn't see your pie on instagram for some reason. Did you tag me in it @the.diet.chef or did you use the #thedietchef ? Just curious, because I looked for it. :D Hope you're doing great!

I did both, but it looks like I've been foiled by my own IG privacy settings! D'oh! Sorry about that!

If you follow me on IG @sharon_lim_ea I think you'll be able to see the photo!

Joe is there a substitute for the De Novos white cake protein powder? I am in Canada and need to make this for Saturday not a lot of time to get special ingredients

If you've got some kind of vanilla protein powder at all at home should be ok! Happy Thanksgiving :)
