    THE BEST CELERY JUICE RECIPE

Celery juice is a drink that has been quite the craze over the past year or so. People have been drinking it as a detox type of drink since it has various health benefits.

I have really liked this celery juice recipe since it's easy to make and tastes so darn good. Seriously, it's super refreshing and just delicious.

And whenever I drink it, I find that it keeps me full for a few hours, just like this weight loss Oreo shake. This celery juice has been a hydrating snack replacement for me that I've also found to fight off cravings.

So if you've been wondering how to make celery juice, you've come to the right place!

Two glasses with straws in them filled ¾ of the way with celery juice.

    Ingredients

Something else I love about this celery juice recipe is that it's made with only two ingredients. I know for a fact you have one of them, and you might even have the other!

    Here's what you'll need:

    • 4 celery sticks
    • 2 cups (500ml) water

Now, some celery juice recipes have sugar added to them, but I think it's completely unnecessary and kind of defeats the purpose of drinking it.

Oh, and if you have to run to the store to pick up celery, grab some extra because you can use it to make this low carb tuna pasta salad for a healthy lunch!

    How to Make Celery Juice

This celery juice recipe takes just a few minutes to make and is actually super simple. So even if you've never made a juice at home before, you'll find this recipe to be super easy.

Now get the celery out, and let's make it into fresh pressed juice!

A hand pouring water into a blender that is filled with cut up celery pieces.

    Step 1: Prepping the celery

First, clean the celery sticks, remove the leaves, and cut off the white ends. If the celery isn't pre-washed, be sure to scrub the ribs with a paper towel to get rid of any hidden dirt.

Now, cut the sticks into small pieces (approximately two-inch to three-inch ribs) and place them into a blender.

Step 2: Making the celery juice

Once the cut celery is in the blender, add the water to it and put the blender lid on.

Then blend the two until they start to combine, take the lid off, and push the celery down with a wooden spoon - or anything that you want. And continue to blend the two until they are fully combined and a juice forms.

After you have a juice, pour it into a cheesecloth and squeeze over a large cup or pitcher to extract all of the juice.

Finally, pour the celery juice into a glass and enjoy!

    How to Store Celery Juice

This celery juice is best enjoyed right after you make it, and it'll be hard not to drink all of it.

But if you can't finish it all, the best way to store it is in the refrigerator in a mason jar or any glass with a sealable lid. It will last in the fridge for about 24 hours.

FAQ's about This Celery Juice Recipe

    Celery juice benefits

Celery juice is packed with vitamins A, C, K, folate, and so many more nutrients. Celery juice has also been known to reduce inflammation and is a great addition to an anti-inflammatory diet. If you plan to use this juice for any medical purposes, speak to your physician first.

Does celery juice make you lose weight?

Celery juice alone has not been found to make you lose weight. Rather, it can aid in weight loss since it is a great alternative to high-calorie beverages. Also, I have found it to be very satiating, meaning that it can keep you fuller for a longer period of time.

What are the benefits of drinking celery juice on an empty stomach?

There have been proponents that say that celery juice can detoxify the liver and even heal chronic illnesses. However, no scientific evidence has been found to back these claims. It has also been said that drinking it on an empty stomach allows your body to absorb its nutrients better.
