As you guys know I'm currently dieting for my wedding. I'm down about 23-4ish pounds so far, but I've definitely had to decrease my calories quite a bit to get here.
A couple months ago I noticed a drastic decline in my energy levels, so I decided it was time to add caffeine into my day. That's also when I decided to start making these healthy Cafe Mocha's. They're low in calories (only 30 per cup), and they're even dairy-free.This doesn't sound like a big deal, but when you literally spend weeks looking for an energy drink that matches that criteria, it is. For some reason, Monster doesn't sell something like this, and neither does Starbucks.
So, out of necessity, I came up with this Iced Cafe Mocha recipe. It's my own personal version of a "Coffee Flavored Energy Drink", but without the outrageous price tag. Lets be honest, paying $2-3 for an energy drink is RI-DIC-U-LOUS!
So now you can get your Cafe Mocha fix, without all the empty calories, and without spending an arm and a leg.
I really encourage you guys to use the Cafe Bustello Instant Coffee, and the Walden Farms Calorie Free Chocolate Syrup in your Cafe Mocha's. So if you're having a hard time finding these ingredients where you live I'll post the Amazon links below so you can pick them up
