If I had to describe these muffins to somebody else, the first thing that comes to my mind is this...
If banana bread and chocolate chip muffins got together and made babies, the delicious results would be these. That's because the tops aren't going to get super firm like a normal muffin, and the inside won't be nearly as dry. These are moist and chewy, not crumbly and dry.
Did I mention how easy it is to make these muffins?
As you guys know, I love blend and bake recipes, and it seems like you guys do too. I have a feeling this muffin recipe is going to join my other B&B recipes like these brownies & this banana cake, as one of my most popular.

Healthy Chocolate Chip Banana Muffins
Healthy chocolate chip muffins recipe
- Prep Time: 5 mins
- Cook Time: 15 mins
- Total Time: 20 mins
- Yield: 10 Muffins

Ingredients
- 2 (200g) Ripe bananas
- 2 Egg whites (70g)
- 1 Egg
- 2 Cups of oats (160g)
- ¾ Cup greek yogurt (190g)
- Just less than ¼ cup (40g) sugar substitute
- 3 Tbsp (42g) semi-sweetened mini chocolate chips
- Just less than ½ a cup (100g) unsweetened applesauce
- 2 Tbsp (30ml) low calorie pancake syrup
- 1 Tsp vanilla extract
- 1 ½ Tsp baking powder
- ½ Tsp baking soda
Instructions
- Add all your ingredients, except the chocolate chips, to your blender (liquids first)
- Blend until well combined
- Stir in chocolate chips
- Spray a muffin tray (or the wrappers if using them) with non-stick cooking spray
- Bake at 400 Degrees | 204 Celsius for 15-20 minutes
