Basically, all you have to do is add all of the ingredients to a pourable bowl - except the lava part - mix them up, pour them into an 8oz ramekin, and bake!

How To Make This Keto Chocolate Lava Mug Cake In The Microwave
There are 2 ways you can make this keto chocolate lava mug cake. You can cook it in the microwave, or in the oven.
If you use a microwave, the mug cake will only take about one minute to cook. It is definitely the fastest and easiest way to make the cake.
So, to make let's not waste any more time and make the best keto chocolate cake in lava mug cake form!
Step 1: Making the Cake
First, add all of the ingredients - except the chocolate chips and almond milk - to a medium-sized bowl, and mix them with a rubber spatula until they combine.
Next, coat an 8oz ramekin with baking spray, and add ⅔ of the batter to the ramekin.
Now microwave the chocolate cake for around 20 seconds. Microwave times will vary, but 20 seconds was perfect for my 1100 Watt microwave.
STEP 2: Making The Lava Filling
While the cake is microwaving, add the sugar free chocolate chips and almond milk to a small bowl and mix them together.
Make sure the mug cake is cooked enough so that it can hold all of the sugar free chocolate chips without them sinking into it. When it is, add all of those chocolate chips to the center of the mug cake.
Now pour the remaining ⅓ of the batter over the chocolate chips, and cook for another 20 seconds.
How To Make This Keto Chocolate Lava Mug Cake In The Oven
I know not everyone likes to use a microwave or owns a microwave, and the good news is you can cook this mug cake in the oven too. However, instead of the mug cake taking a minute to cook, it will take about 12 minutes.
That said, you'll want to do just a couple of things different to make it in the oven. First, pre-heat the oven to 350 Degrees F.
Then add all of the ingredients - except the sugar free chocolate chips and almond milk - to a medium-sized bowl, and combine them with a spatula.
Now coat an 8oz ramekin with baking spray, and add ALL OF THE BATTER to the ramekin. Cook it for 5-ish minutes
While the cake is baking add the chocolate chips and almond milk to a small bowl and mix. After about 5 minutes of cooking, add the chocolate chip/almond milk mix to the center of the mug cake. Press the chocolate chips into the center of the cake and cook for another 7-ish minutes.
Then remove from the oven when just the middle of the cake is just ever so slightly "wet" looking
