But, chia seeds have the most addictive texture and a delicate, mild taste that pairs well with so many flavor combinations.
And, when it comes to incorporating chia seeds into my regular diet, I can't think of anything better than this easy chia pudding recipe! Not only does it taste incredible but the texture of it is incredible too. Then, to take things over the "top" I like to top the pudding with some fruit - but nuts and granola work too.

So, less than a handful of simple ingredients are all you need to make this chia seed pudding recipe. And, best of all, you probably have most - if not all - of them at home already.
Anyway, here's everything you'll need to make this chia seed pudding recipe:
- 4 tablespoon chia seeds
- ½ cup almond milk or milk of choice
- 1 tsp. honey or other sweeteners, optional
- Mixed berries for topping
So, if you spot both black chia seeds and white chia seeds at the store, go ahead and buy either. There's absolutely no difference between black chia seeds and white chia seeds besides the color of their outer shell, so you can use them interchangeably for chia seed recipes.
And if you don't have almond milk - or if you feel like switching it up - you can use any plant-based milk or even dairy milk if you prefer. Honestly, oat milk, coconut milk, and cashew milk are some of the best dairy-free options you can use to make this a super creamy chia seed pudding.
Oh, and for the fruit toppings, you can use any seasonal fresh fruit or fresh berries you have available. Fresh strawberries and blueberries are some of my favorites to add to this chia pudding.

Chia pudding makes a fantastic healthy breakfast meal prep option so I usually make multiple jars when I make it. That way I've got breakfast covered for the week. Or most of the week anyway.
