The Best Protein Options at Chipotle
Whenever I want a super high protein meal but don't feel like cooking, I always go to Chipotle. I mean, the food is just delicious, and they have a ton of high protein options. From the variety of meat options to the fix-ins, you'll never run out of a Chipotle burrito bowl to order.
That said, sometimes the menu can be a little intimidating since there's so much to choose from. That's why I compiled this list of my favorite Chipotle high protein bowls with each one of their meat (and meatless) options! So, next time you're craving Chipotle for a post workout meal or a filling dinner, try one of these orders and up your protein intake for the day.

1. Double Chicken Burrito Bowl- 85g of Protein
My favorite order is a double chicken bowl with white rice, cheese, black beans, red tomato salsa, fajita veggies, and guac. I like to keep it simple but pack on the protein, with this order coming out to a whopping 85 grams of protein!
2. Double Chicken Burrito Bowl- 82g of Protein
If that option isn't your speed, another delicious bowl at Chipotle that I like to order is the double chicken with brown rice, lettuce, roasted chili corn salsa, shredded cheese, and queso to finish it off. Trust me, this one is delish!
3. Double Barbacoa Bowl- 72g of Protein
Whenever I get the barbacoa - double protein, of course - I order it with pinto beans, fajita vegetables, guac for some healthy fats, brown rice, and roasted chili corn salsa. It's a delicious Tex-Mex-style bowl that I promise you'll love.
4. Double Carnitas Bowl- 67g of Protein
I've found that black beans, white rice, cheese, tomatillo red chili salsa, lettuce, super greens, and a little guac go best for the carnitas meat option. Order it this way, and you'll have a high protein bowl with over 65 grams of protein.
5. Double Chicken and Steak Bowl- 65g of Protein
Sometimes I can't decide if I want chicken or steak, so I get both! Make sure to order a full portion of each for the most proteins. In this bowl, I'll get the chicken and steak with shredded cheese, tomatillo green salsa, white rice, and lettuce.
6. Double Steak Bowl- 66g of Protein
I'll be honest - I love steak and am a steak critic, and I think Chipotle has some of the best steak around. For my steak bowl, I order white rice, cheese, fajita veggies, black beans, guac, and queso for a balance bowl.
7. Double Sofritas Bowl- 42g of Protein
If you don't eat meat and still want to get a high protein Chipotle bowl, not to worry, the sofritas are actually really good. My wife loves the sofritas, and her sofritas bowl order is super greens lettuce, brown rice, black beans, pinto beans, fajita veggies, roasted chili corn salsa, and guac. It makes the ultimate high protein vegan bowl!
8. Double Sofritas Bowl- 41g of Protein
If that's not your speed, I have another vegetarian bowl that's delicious! Just order double sofritas, black beans, shredded cheese, queso, and lettuce. I like eating this one with tortilla chips. It's simple, yet so so good.
