- Heaping 1 teaspoon oregano
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon rosemary

- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper
Pretty simple stuff to cook boneless pork chops, right?!
Also, just so you know, I actually use many of the same seasoning ingredients to make this air fryer chicken breast recipe and these air fried salmon bites. So you might want to give those recipes a shot next if you end up with some leftover seasonings.
Oh, and if you don't want to use the dry rub, feel free to add any of your preferred seasonings to these air fried pork chops. They'll turn out delicious no matter what you put on the boneless pork chops before air frying.
HOW TO COOK PORK CHOPS IN The AIR FRYER
The process for this air fryer pork chop recipe is a pretty easy one. And the air fryer really takes care of all the hard work.
So with that said, get out the ingredients, and let's make air fried pork chops!
STEP 1: MAKING THE DRY RUB
First things first, let's make the dry rub. To do that, add thee the garlic salt, oregano, onion powder, paprika, rosemary, sweetener, black pepper, cayenne pepper, and a pinch of chili powder to a bowl.
Then give all of the seasonings a good mix until everything combines. And when it does, you can set it aside for later.
STEP 2: PREPARING THE PORK CHOPS
Now take the pork chops out and pat both of the sides dry with a paper towel.
Then coat the pork chops in some olive oil and rub it into the meat. After that, evenly distribute the dry rub on the pork chops until you use all of it.
Next, I like to stick this meat thermometer called "the meater" into one of the pork chops and set the thermometer to cook at 145°F.
This meat thermometer is a bluetooth thermometer that will tell you on your phone the temperature of your meat the entire time you're cooking it. So it's pretty much impossible to undercook or overcook it!
STEP 3: AIR FRYING THE PORK CHOPS
Now, put the seasoned pork chops in the air fryer basket and air fry them at 400°F (205°C) for around 12 minutes. And you'll want to flip them halfway through cooking, so they evenly air fry on both sides.
Once each juicy air fryer pork chop reaches an internal temperature of 140°F, pull them out of the air fryer and let them rest until they reach 145°F to ensure they turn out super juicy.
Then when they do, serve them alone or with one of your favorite sides - like this sauteed eggplant recipe or this roasted kohlrabi - and enjoy these delicious pork chops!
How To Store Air Fryer Pork Chops
As you know, this recipe for air fryer pork chops 2 pork chops. But if you want more, you can make as many pork chops as you want and just adjust the dry rub accordingly.
Then if you have any leftovers, you can store the air fried pork chops in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days. And if you want to keep them for longer, you can freeze the pork chops in a freezer-safe bag or airtight container.
How To Reheat Pork Chops
Now, if you want to reheat the leftover pork chops, you can put them back in the air fryer at low heat, about 170°F, for around 8-10 minutes. And make sure to flip them halfway through reheating.
Oh, and if you want to cook frozen pork chops, you can reheat them the same way in the air fryer, just add a few more minutes on each side.
FAQS About This Air Fryer Pork Chops Recipe
How long do I cook pork chops in my air fryer?
So, as I mentioned in the how to make section, you'll want to cook the pork chops for about 12 minutes and flip them halfway through cooking. Now if you're using thin pork chops, the cooking time will vary a little and be more around 8 minutes. Again, you'll want to flip the meat halfway through.
What temperature should air fryer be for pork chops?
The temperature the air fryer should be to cook pork chops is 400 degrees Fahrenheit (205 degrees Celsius). I have found that this temperature cooks the pork chops thoroughly without drying them out. And this temperature is high enough that it doesn't take over 20 minutes like it would cooking them in the oven.
Why are my air fryer pork chops tough?
If your pork chops are tough, it is probably because you overcooked them. My secret trick, as I talked about earlier, is to cook the pork chops to an internal temperature of 140°F, and then take them out of the air fryer basket and let the pork chops rest until the internal temperature hits 145°F. This method really works well and will never dry out your pork chops.
