If you love Taco Bell but don't like all of the calories that come with the majority of their meals, this healthy Taco Bell list has everything you need!
Surprisingly, there are a lot of Taco Bell meals you can get that are low in calories. Well, that is if you know what to order and what modifications to make. And that's where this guide comes in!
I've taken all of the guesswork out of what to order off the Taco Bell menu for you. I've even listed the changes you need to make to their classic meals to make them healthier and lower in calories.
Also, just to make this clear from the jump, I realize everyone has a different definition of what "healthy" is. But, for the sake of this list, I'm defining it as orders that are lower in calories - more specifically, ones that are under 250 calories.

1. Grilled Chicken Soft Tacos Fresco Style
Kicking off our list of the healthiest Taco Bell orders is a classic grilled chicken taco. If you order it "fresco style", it'll swap out the cheese, dairy, and mayo-based sauces in any order for pico de gallo.
You can enjoy this grilled chicken taco on a soft tortilla shell packed with veggies for just 130 calories. That means you can have two of these tacos for well under 300 calories!
As far as healthy fast food lunch options go - especially cheap options - it doesn't get much better than this order. Not to mention, it's also the lowest calorie taco on Taco Bell's menu.
2. Crunchy Taco With Beef Fresco Style
Taco Bell's crunchy taco ordered fresco style comes with seasoned beef, shredded lettuce, and pico de gallo for a total of just 140 calories.
So again, you can have two tacos for under 300 calories.
3. Grilled Steak Tacos Fresco Style
If you prefer steak tacos, order a fresco style taco with grilled steak instead of the classic beef taco. It only has 150 calories and it's out of this world good.,
4. Cheesy Toasted Breakfast Burrito (No Tortilla)
It might seem counterintuitive to order this Taco Bell breakfast favorite without the tortilla, but you're left with a pretty hearty meal consisting of fluffy eggs and a melty three-cheese blend with your choice of bacon, sausage, or crispy potatoes.
Whether you choose bacon, sausage, or potatoes, this breakfast option will come out to around 150 calories!
Honestly, as far as healthy fast food breakfast orders go, not only is this option one of the lowest in calories, but it's also one of the tastiest.
5. Veggie Power Bowl (Fresco Style, No Rice, No Avocado Ranch)
Taco Bell's veggie power menu bowl is one of the healthiest options at Taco Bell, but it's pretty high in calories since it has 420 calories per bowl.
But all you have to do to bring it down to just 170 calories is order your veggie bowl fresco style with no rice and no avocado ranch. This leaves you with a filling and healthy power bowl with black beans, romaine lettuce, pico de gallo, and guacamole.
By the way, if you think it needs a little something extra, you can even drizzle one of these low calorie sauces on top!
6. Crunchy Beef Taco
You can't go wrong with the classics, and Taco Bell's signature crunchy taco is actually pretty low in calories just as it comes.
The crunchy taco consists of seasoned beef, shredded cheese, and shredded lettuce for just 170 calories. That also makes the beef taco the lowest calorie item on Taco Bell's menu without having to make any changes to it!
7. Nacho Cheese Doritos Locos Taco
Now, this may come as a surprise, but the iconic Doritos Locos Taco is actually pretty low in calories at just 170 calories per taco. It features a hard taco shell made of nacho cheese-flavored Doritos, seasoned beef, shredded lettuce, and cheddar cheese.
By the way, if you want to make this indulgent taco healthier and lower calories, order it fresco style to swap the cheese with pico de gallo. Doing so will bring the order down to 140 calories.
8. Chicken Soft Taco Supreme
The chicken soft taco supreme at Taco Bell comes with all the fixins. It has seasoned chicken, shredded lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, and reduced-fat sour cream, all for just 180 calories!
For what it's worth, this is another one of my favorite cheap healthy fast food lunch options to order.
9. Cheesy Roll Up
Taco Bell's cheesy roll up is a terrific healthy vegetarian option on their menu. It consists of melty cheddar cheese, pepper jack cheese, and mozzarella cheese all rolled up in a soft tortilla. It's so simple, yet so good!
If you're craving cheese, this is a great low calorie option to go with. It also comes out to just 180 calories!
10. Crunchy Taco Supreme
The crunchy taco supreme has seasoned beef, lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, and reduced-fat sour cream encased in a crunchy taco shell for a total of 190 calories. You can even add one of your favorite hot sauces for a spicy kick with no extra calories! My favorite one to add to this taco is the Taco Bell FIRE! sauce.
11. Nacho Cheese Doritos Locos Taco Supreme
Like the Crunchy Taco Supreme I just mentioned, this supreme version of the Doritos Locos Taco adds tomatoes and reduced-fat sour cream to the beef, lettuce, and cheese that already come on the taco. With all the extras, it comes to only 190 calories.
12. Chicken Chipotle Melt
If you're craving Taco Bell's chipotle sauce, the Chicken Chipotle Melt is just what you need. It's made with grilled chicken, chipotle sauce, and shredded cheddar cheese, wrapped up in a flour tortilla and toasted to melty, cheesy perfection. It's hard to believe the whole thing comes out to just 190 calories!
By the way, if you ask for light chipotle sauce you'll save yourself 15 calories.
13. Beef Soft Taco Supreme
Another healthy taco option at Taco Bell is the Beef Soft Taco Supreme. It's made with a flour tortilla, classic seasoned beef, shredded lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, and reduced-fat sour cream. All of that yummy yumminess will run you just 210 calories.
14. Chicken Power Bowl (No Rice, No Beans, No Avocado Ranch)
Just like the veggie power bowl, you transform the Chicken Power Bowl from a high calorie meal into a super low calorie and low carb option too!
Just order it with no rice, no beans, and no avocado ranch sauce. You'll still have a delicious chicken bowl consisting of grilled chicken, shredded lettuce, tomatoes, guacamole, sour cream, and shredded cheese, all for just 220 calories!
Also, for what it's worth, I usually order this Chicken Power Bowl with extra chicken to make it a high protein meal. Not going to lie; this is my favorite healthy Taco Bell order on the menu.
15. Chips and Nacho Cheese Sauce
Nachos and cheese isn't the first thing you think of when you hear health food. But, as I said earlier, to make the rankings as unbiased as possible, I decided to sort this healthy Taco Bell list by calories. And, well, Taco Bell's nachos and cheese come in at just 220 calories, so they made the list!
So, if you want a low calorie side for any of your orders, the nachos are a good option to go with.
By the way, if you get your Taco Bell order to go and want a lower calorie version of their chips and cheese, you can pick up one of these low calorie chip options from the store and make my 0 carb cheese sauce instead!
16. Steak Power Menu Bowl (No Rice, No Beans, No Avocado Ranch)
Just like the Chicken Power Bowl, the Steak Power Bowl - ordered without rice, beans, and ranch sauce - is another awesome low caloire menu option at Taco Bell. Ordering the salad bowl this way will save you a hundreds of calories. In fact, the entire bowl will have just 230 calories if you order it like this.
As for salad dressing, I like using multiple packets of one of their low calorie hot sauces. We'll talk more about those in a minute.
17. Spicy Potato Soft Taco
If you love Taco Bell's crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside potato bites, you're in luck! The Spicy Potato Soft Taco is a filling meal all on its own, and it has just 240 calories.
It features fried potato bites topped with shredded lettuce, cheddar cheese, and creamy chipotle sauce in a soft flour tortilla.
By the way, if you want to knock off 30 extra calories, order it with no creamy chipotle sauce.
18. Loaded Nacho Taco
Rounding out this healthy low calorie Taco Bell list is the loaded nacho taco. It's exactly what it sounds like - a winning combination of Taco Bell's soft shell taco and cheesy nachos. It has a soft taco filled with ground beef, lettuce, jalapenos, cheese sauce, and crunchy red tortilla strips.
You can order the regular version or the spicy version with jalapenos, both for just 250 calories total.
Low Calorie Taco Bell Sides
I'm not going to lie; there aren't many "healthy" side options at Taco Bell.
Most of the sides are deep fried and full of carbs and fat - and not much protein. Basically, they have a totally unbalanced macronutrient profile.
With that said, the healthiest side dish at Taco Bell is the black beans. They're also the lowest in calories.

Now, all of theses healthy Taco Bell orders are really delicious on their own, but you can spice things up a little bit by adding one of their famous sauces to 'em.
