    Protein bars might not be the first snack you think of when it comes to losing weight, but there are actually a ton of great options out there.

    With that in mind, I compiled this list of what I think are the 20 best protein bars for weight loss and arranged the list based on which ones have the best ratio of calories, protein, fiber, and sugar.

    Now, before we get into the list, you're probably wondering, can I lose weight eating protein bars?

    And the answer is yes!

    However, protein bars themselves won't magically make you lose weight, but what they have to offer can help with your weight loss journey.  

    The key is finding protein bars for weight loss that are high in fiber, high in protein, and low in calories and added sugar - or even better have no added sugar at all. 

    And the main reason why these kinds of protein bars help you lose weight is that not only can they satisfy cravings for desserts, but they can keep you full for hours. In fact, most of the protein bars on this list can even double as meal replacement bar as well.

    Now, if you’ve been following my blog for a while, then you already know I’m a big fan of Quest protein bars - especially their birthday cake flavor.

    It's easily one of my favorite protein bars. I’ve mentioned them in both my best keto snacks at Target and at Walmart lists. And there are a ton of flavors to choose from - some of my other favorites are chocolate chip cookie dough and blueberry muffin.

    Although it has a little less protein than the Quest bars, it is super low in calories, making it a great protein bar for weight loss.

    By the way, these bars go incredibly well with these protein waffles & this protein mug cake. Honestly, sometimes I even melt the Chocolate Built Bars into the cake to make it almost like a lava cake. Gah, it's good.

    Personally, I love the fact that these bars are so high in fiber. Because of that - the fiber - I can eat just one bar and feel full for hours.
