    Keto At Starbucks

In starting your keto journey, you probably thought you had to give up Starbucks, right? Well, that actually might not be the case.

I'm here to tell you that it is absolutely possible to maintain your keto diet and order keto Starbucks drinks!

In fact, there are A LOT of options on the menu that you can make low carb and have an incredible keto Starbucks drinks experience.

All you have to do is make a few simple substitutions and I'll tell you exactly what to do for each one of these keto Starbucks drinks.

    Starbucks Keto Pro Tips

My favorite thing about ordering at Starbucks is that the drinks are endlessly customizable. And it's also why you can make so many of the keto Starbucks drinks there low carb and keto friendly

That said, knowing what to order and what not to order can help you make your keto Starbucks drinks as low carb as possible.

So, here are five pro-tips for ordering keto at Starbucks.

    1. Skip the whipped cream

Yes, the whipped cream at Starbucks is full of fat, but it's also full of sugar and carbs. So you'll definitely want to avoid it.

    2. Remember that skinny drinks aren't keto drinks

Many people make the mistake of thinking skinny drinks are low carb keto drinks. However, the only thing "skinny" means at Starbucks is that the drinks are made with fat-free milk and sugar-free syrup.

Not to mention, most skinny drinks at Starbucks have 20 grams of carbs - or more - each!

So, you'll want to avoid ordering these drinks there.

    3. Use heavy cream or almond milk

These are the lowest carb milk options available at Starbucks.

Both of these options have around 5 grams of carbs per cup. But, that's A LOT LOWER than all of the other options on Starbucks' menu.

    4. Sugar Free Does Not Mean Carb Free

A lot of people think that the sugar-free syrups are carb-free. Unfortunately, they're not.

The SF syrups at Starbucks are actually made with a very VERY small amount of maltodextrin - which is another word for sugar.

That said, each pump of the sugar-free syrup at Starbucks has about 1 gram of carbs. So you'll want to be very specific about the amount of syrup you want in your drink.

By the way, don't worry about adding A LITTLE sugar-free syrup to your drinks. It won't be enough to kick you out of ketosis, especially if you use the amounts I suggest in the drinks below!

    5. Skip The Sweetener Packets Starbucks Has

Starbucks offers several different sweetener packets at their stores.

However, none of these are especially great for keto.

The Stevia In The Raw packets are actually mostly dextrose with a teeny-tiny bit of stevia, and the Splenda packets are mostly dextrose with a teeny-tiny bit of sucralose. What this means is that these packets basically have 1 gram of carbs - and sugar - in them.

With that said, if you use just a packet - or two - you'll probably be ok with keeping most of your Starbucks orders keto.

But, if you're the kind of person who likes to add 4,5, or even 6 sweetener packets to your Starbucks drinks then I recommend using your own keto-friendly sweetener.

    6. BRING YOUR OWN SWEETENER

I actually just keep a bunch of these Whole Earth packets in my car - so I can add them to my keto Starbucks drink orders when I need to - since they have 0 net carbs!

And, yes, I know the back of the packet lists it at 1 carb, but this is only because of how the FDA makes companies list the nutritional info of sugar alcohols on packages.

For sure, it's confusing. But, just know there are 0 REAL CARBS in a packet of Whole Earth's stevia, monk fruit, erythritol blend.

However, the same cannot be said for Sweet’n Low, Splenda, or Stevia In The Raw - all of these contain some form of sugar. Usually in the form of maltodextrin, dextrose, or both.

Cold Coffee Drinks for Keto at Starbucks

Now that we've got that out of the way let's get into what you can order keto at Starbucks.

And since it's summer, we'll be starting with the cold coffee drinks!

    1. Keto Frappuccino

A blended iced coffee in a cup.

Here's how to order a makeshift keto frappucino at Starbucks - order a:

    • Grande Iced Coffee
    • With 2 splashes of heavy cream
    • & 3 pumps of sugar free vanilla syrup
    • Make sure to ask for no classic syrup
    • Go light on the ice
    • And get it double blended

What you get is a low carb frappuccino with the perfect balance of creaminess, sweetness, and coffee-ness (Is that a word? Because it should be). Overall, this comes out to 5 net carbs for $3.20.

By the way, if you want to make a homemade version, you have to check out this keto frappuccino recipe! I know I'm biased, but I think it tastes just as good as the one from Starbucks

    2. Keto Espresso Frappuccino

And holding a clear cup of Starbucks iced espresso Frappuccino.

If you want a little extra caffeine kick, this keto espresso frappuccino is where it's at! It's so icy yet smooth and just delicious. Honestly, it's one of my favorite Starbucks drinks right now!

In fact, in the summer months, whenever I'm not starting my day with this keto smoothie recipe, I'm usually starting it with this keto frappuccino.

Anyway, here's how to order this classic Starbucks drink keto friendly:

    • Grande Espresso Frappuccino
    • With almond milk
    • 3 pumps of sugar free vanilla syrup instead of the frappuccino syrup
    • And get it double blended

Now, you can't remove all of the frappuccino syrup on the app. So if you want this low carb drink, you'll have to order it at the store.

Oh, and this will come out to 4 net carbs for $3.20.

    3. NITRO COLD BREW

A nitro cold brew in a cup.

Cold brew coffee is naturally a pretty healthy choice because you get a lot less acidity and a better coffee flavor in it.

Now, on its own, the Nitro Cold Brew at Starbucks has 0 carbs. But I like to jazz it up!

So here's how I order my Keto Nitro Cold Brew at Starbucks:

    • Grande Nitro Cold Brew
    • Splash of heavy cream
    • 2 pumps of sugar free vanilla syrup

Yes, you'll add a few carbs ordering the cold brew this way, but it's so worth it!

The drink ends up having a ton of rich coffee flavor, the perfect amount of sweetness, and a tiny hint of creaminess...mmm, it's so good.

Made this way, it comes out to 3 net carbs and costs $4.45.

By the way, whenever I start my day with a Starbucks Nitro Cold I almost always pair it with a protein bar. And I actually just put together a list of the best protein bars for weight loss. So, if that sound like a tasty breakfast to you, give that list a look.

    4. Keto Vanilla Sweet Cream Cold Brew

Hand holding a clear cup of Starbucks iced vanilla cream cold brew.

This keto vanilla sweet cream cold brew is a treat if you like cold brews! It's filled with vanilla and a rich coffee flavor for the perfect balance.

Here's how to make it work for the keto diet:

    • Grande Vanilla Sweet Cream Cold Brew
    • Splash of heavy cream
    • 2 pumps of sugar free vanilla syrup

Order it this way, and it'll have only 1 net carb for $3.95!

By the way, it pairs great with this homemade low carb low calorie cereal. So if you're trying to turn you keto breakfast up to 11 give that a shot.

    5. Keto Double Shot on Ice

2 Shots of espresso poured over ice, and mixed with almond milk & sweetener.

A Double Shot on Ice is basically two espresso shots mixed with milk and sugar then poured over ice.

So, to make it keto order it like this:

    • Grande Double Shot On Ice
    • Make sure to ask for NO classic syrup (it's made with cane sugar)
    • Use 2-4 whole earth packets to sweeten it instead
    • Substitute the 2 percent milk with almond milk

Ordered this way, your double shot on ice should have just 1.5 net carbs, and cost $3.75.

    6. Keto Iced Coffee

An iced coffee in a cup.

An Iced Coffee at Starbucks is perfect for warm weather. And if you're aiming for 0 carbs, you can get the Grande Iced Coffee plain - just make sure to ask for no classic syrup.

But I like to add a little more deliciousness to my iced coffee order at Starbucks.

So, here's how I order my Keto Iced Coffee:

    • Grande Iced Coffee
    • Splash of almond milk
    • 2 pumps of sugar free vanilla syrup
    • & Again make sure you ASK FOR NO CLASSIC SYRUP

Ordering it this way adds a ton of deliciousness for a total of just 2 net carbs, and costs $3.65!

Well worth it if you ask me.

By the way, if you'd like to make a high protein low carb version of this drink at home, I just posted a protein coffee recipe on the blog that'll knock your socks off!

    7. Keto Iced Shaken Espresso

A hand holding a cup of A hand holding a Starbucks keto ice shaken espresso.

Creamy, icy, and bold, order this Iced Shaken Espresso, and that's what you'll have yourself.

To make it keto, you'll want to order it like this:

    • Grande Iced Shaken Espresso
    • Substitute 2% milk with almond milk or heavy cream
    • Substitute classic syrup with 2 pumps of sugar free vanilla syrup
    • & Use a Whole Earth packet if you need more sweetness

Ordering it this way will bring the drink out to only 4 net carbs, and costs $3.95.

And, remember, you can always make this drink even more low carb by skipping the sugar-free syrup altogether. Ordering the shaken espresso like this will result in it having just 2 carbs.

    8. Keto Iced Toasted Oatmilk Shaken Espresso

The iced toasted oatmilk shaken espresso is a newer drink that Starbucks offers. And it has become really popular, really fast! It comes with blonde espresso, oatmilk, and toasted vanilla syrup for a deliciously creamy and vanillay drink.

How it comes is not keto friendly, so you'll have to make a little tweak to make it low carb. Here is how to order it:

    • 4 pumps of sugar free vanilla syrup
    • Half oatmilk & half almond milk

Now, you can order it with just oatmilk, and it will come out to about 5 net carbs. But if you do the half oat, half almond, it will only 3 net carbs. This drink is a little more expensive coming out to $5.45.

    9. Keto Iced Flat White

Hand holding a cup of Starbucks keto iced flat white.

If you'd prefer a creamy drink with a true espresso flavor, this Keto Iced Flat White has you covered.

And I like to order this when I'm feeling something more along the lines of an iced coffee with milk, but need a little extra caffeine kick.

You can make the Iced Flat White keto friendly by ordering it like this:

    • Grande Iced Flat White
    • With almond milk or heavy cream instead of the whole milk

Just one simple substitution, and you'll have another 4 net carb drink option.

And as far as the price of this one, it costs $4.75.

    10. Keto Iced Blonde Vanilla Latte

A hand holding a cup of Starbucks keto iced blonde vanilla latte.

This Keto Iced Blonde Vanilla Latte is one of the tastiest flavored drinks at Starbucks. At least that's what I think - I guess you'll have to try it out to see if you agree.

And you can make this Starbucks drink keto by ordering:

    • Grande Iced Blonde Vanilla Latte
    • With almond milk or heavy cream (instead of 2% milk)
    • & 3 pumps of sugar free vanilla syrup

You'll have yourself a classic latte with some vanilla flavor and a little creaminess, all for just 4 net carbs and $4.75.

    11. Keto Starbucks Iced Latte

A hand holding a clear cup of Starbucks iced latte.

If you just want a classic latte, this iced caffe latte ordered keto is the way to go. It has everything you love about a traditional latte, but it's keto friendly!

You can make it low carb by ordering it like this:

    • Grande Iced Caffe Latte
    • With almond milk or heavy cream
    • & 1 Sweetener packet

I like to order it with heavy cream to make it extra creamy. If you order it the same way, this classic latte will come out to just 2 net carbs for $4.25.

Non-Coffee Drinks for Keto at Starbucks

So, if coffee isn't your thing, there are also a ton of excellent tea-based drinks – both cold and hot – that are equally delicious and low carb on Starbucks' menu.

    12. Keto Pink Drink

Pink tea mixed with cream and sweetener in a cup.

You can make this popular Instagram beverage keto by ordering a:

    • Grande Unsweetened Passion Tango Tea
    • with 2 splashes of heavy cream
    • As well as 3 pumps of sugar free vanilla syrup
    • And pouring it over light ice

This drink is honestly PERFECT for summer – it's cold, refreshing, and super reminiscent of a strawberry creamsicle! So good.

Oh, and this keto drink has 5 carbs and costs $3.35.

Of course, you can decrease the amount of sugar-free vanilla syrup if you want to make it even lower in carbs. And I recommend adding a packet of Whole Earth sweetener if you do.

By the way, if you want to make a homemade version of this drink, I've got a recipe for it on the blog.

    13. Keto White Drink (Iced Peach Tranquility)

A white tea drink mixed with cream and sweetener in a cup.

So this is another fan favorite that you can absolutely make low carb and keto with just a couple substitutions.

    Just get a:

    • Grande Iced Peach Tranquility
    • Light ice
    • 3 pumps of SF vanilla syrup
    • And a splash of heavy cream

With that said, ordering the White Drink keto like this at Starbucks will cost you $3.35, and comes out to just 4 carbs.

Once again, this option is delicious, refreshing, and an excellent keto summer-time drink. It also pairs great with some keto yogurt.

    14. Hot Teas

If you just want a classic hot tea, Starbucks offers a few more options than the iced ones.

Here's what you have to choose from:

    • Chai Tea
    • Earl Grey
    • Royal English Breakfast
    • Emperor's Clouds & Mist
    • Jade Citrus Mint
    • Mint Majesty
    • Peach Tranquility

There are so many delicious hot teas to choose from, and all of them are $2.25 for a grande, and they have zero carbs! So if you want a hot comforting drink that is ideal for the keto diet, these teas are an excellent option.

    15. Keto Chai Tea

Chai tea in a paper cup.

One of Starbucks' most popular drinks is the Chai Tea. And the good news is that it's incredibly easy to make a keto chai tea at Starbucks!

    Just order a:

    • Grande Teavana Tea
    • Made with 2 bags of chai tea in hot water
    • Then, add 2 splashes of heavy cream
    • 2 pumps of sugar free vanilla syrup
    • and a generous sprinkle of cinnamon on top

The pro-tip here is to make sure your barista uses tea bags instead of the chai tea concentrate they have – that one is loaded with sugar.

That said, ordering a Keto Chai Tea like this at Starbucks will cost you $3.15. That makes it one of the cheapest keto drinks you can get at Starbucks. And, as far as the carb count goes, it will set you back in 4.5 grams of carbs. But it's totally worth each-and-every one of those carbs, trust me!

It's just full of chai tea deliciousness and spiciness! It's hot, cinnamon-y, and warms you up perfectly. As far as Fall keto Starbucks drinks go, this keto chai tea latte is at the top of my list.

    16. Keto Royal English Breakfast

This Royal English Breakfast is another hot tea latte that you can easily make low carb and keto friendly.

    Here's how to order it:

    • Grande Royal English Breakfast Tea Latte
    • With almond milk
    • & 3 pumps of sugar free vanilla syrup

Like the chai tea, it will cost $3.15 but have just 4 net carbs.

    17. Keto London Fog

A large paper coffee cup filled with tea and cream.

Like the chai tea and Royal English Breakfast, this Keto London Fog is another fantastic Fall Starbucks drink idea.

It's creamy and a tiny bit sweet with a beautiful herbal flavor too. And it's another hot tea drink option at Starbucks - so it's perfect for when it's cold outside.

Now, here's how to order a Keto London Fog:

    • Get a Grande Earl Grey Tea made with two tea bags
    • Add a splash of heavy cream
    • and 3 pumps of sugar free vanilla syrup

Now, ordering a London Fog like this costs just $3.15 and has 4 carbs.

    18. Keto Iced Royal English Breakfast Tea Latte

Hand holding a clear cup of Starbucks iced London fog tea latte.

For a delicious creamy iced tea latte, my go to is this Royal English Breakfast tea latte. It's so refreshing and tasty with not as much caffeine as coffee, so it's perfect for a late-afternoon pick me up.

Here's how to order it low carb:

    • Grand Royal English Breakfast Tea Latte
    • With almond milk
    • & 3 pumps of sugar free vanilla syrup

Ordered this way, the tea latte will have only 2 net carbs and you can get it for $4.25.

    19. Keto Iced London Fog Tea Latte

This tea latte similar to the one above, but it's made with early grey. And it's super easy to make low carb!

    Just order:

    • A Grande Iced London Fog Tea Latter
    • With almond milk
    • & 3 pumps of sugar free vanilla syrup

It will also come out to only 2 net carbs and cost $4.25.

    20. Unsweetened Iced Teas

A hand holding a clear cup of Starbucks black ice tea.

Now, if you just want an ice tea without the creaminess, Starbucks has a ton of delicious iced teas that are all naturally perfect for the keto diet!

The keto friendly iced tea options are:

    • Black Tea
    • Green Tea
    • & Passion Tango Tea
    • Sweetener packets if desired

You can get all of these in a grande size for $2.25 and 0 net carbs!

By the way, if you love tea I created a guide on the best green tea for weight loss. It has 15 different options, so give that a look if you love tea!

Hot Coffee Drinks for Keto at Starbucks

If you're really in the mood for a hot cup of joe (lol), there are a ton of hot keto coffee drink options available at Starbucks too!

So, let's go over some of my favorites.

    21. Keto cafe Misto

This deliciously milky coffee drink is one of my favorites. The French call it café au lait, Starbucks calls it a Café Misto, I call it delicious.

That said, to order a Keto Café Misto at Starbucks, ask for:

    • A Grande Café Misto
    • With almond milk instead of 2% milk

Literally, that's all you have to ask for! If you order it this way, it has just 2 carbs and costs $3.85.

    22. Keto Café Latte

A hot cafe latte in a paper cup.

The Keto Café Latte is one of my favorite hot coffee/espresso drinks at Starbucks.

And it's super easy to order it low carb and keto-friendly.

    Just ask for:

    • A Grande Café Latte
    • Brewed with ¾ water and ¼ heavy cream
    • And sweeten it with a few Whole Earth packets

If you order a café latte like this at Starbucks, it'll have just 2.5 carbs, and cost $5.15.

By the way, if you have a little wiggle room, I recommend adding 2 pumps of sugar free vanilla syrup for an additional 2 carbs.

Made this way, it has that perfect balance of creaminess, sweetness, and coffee flavor that you want in a latte!

By the way, one of my favorite things to pair this with are these homemade egg bites. They're just as good - if not better - than the egg bites at Starbucks and they're actually keto friendly unlike the ones there.

    23. KETO FLAT WHITE

Espresso mixed with cream in a cup.

For all you espresso lovers out there, we can easily make the Starbucks Flat White keto!

    To make that happen, order:

    • A Short Flat White – the tall flat white just adds more milk and not any more espresso
    • Ask for it made with  ½ water and ½ heavy cream
    • & sweeten it with 2 whole earth packets

I like the short flat because it has two espresso shots, which is more than enough for me. That said, if you order it how I like to, it'll have 1.5 carbs, and cost $4.55.

However, if you really need a caffeine boost, the Grandé Flat White has 3 shots of espresso.

So, for this more caffeinated option, you'll want to order...

    • A Grandé Flat White
    • Get it made with ¾ water, ¼ heavy cream
    • And sweeten it with 4 whole earth packets

Ordered this way, your keto Flat White at Starbucks will cost $5.35 and have 3 carbs.

    24. Black Coffee

A hot coffee in a paper cup.

You can get the Grande Black Coffee at Starbucks absolutely carb free!

Or, you can add a splash of almond milk for creaminess along with 2-3 whole earth packets to sweeten it up! If you get it this way, it has around 1.5-2 carbs and costs just $2.45.

By the way, pairing this keto black coffee with one of these healthy cereal options is a great way to kickstart your morning!

    25. Keto Cappuccino

A cappuccino is a classic espresso-based drink with steamed milk. And to make it keto friendly, you just have to make one small adjustment.

Here's how to order a low carb cappuccino:

    • Grande Cappuccino
    • With almond milk

How simple is that? And if you want to sweeten it up a little bit, feel free to use some sweetener packets or add in a few pumps of sugar free vanilla syrup!

This staple caffeinated drink costs $3.65 and has only 2 net carbs!

    26. Espresso Con Panna

Need a quick caffeine buzz to wake you up in the morning? Well, if you do, the espresso con panna is perfect! It's a straight espresso shot that has just under 4 net carbs as is.

But if you want to make it even lower in carbs, order it with almond milk and light whipped cream, and it will come out to 1 net carb! Oh, and it's around $2.00 for all of the sizes.

    27. Keto Espresso Macchiato

A hand holding a cup of Starbucks keto espresso macchiato.

This Keto Espresso Macchiato is another great option if you need a quick kick of caffeine ASAP but want to sip on something. You get a few shots of espresso with a dollop of steamed milk to balance out the bitter flavor. And I think it's just so much tastier to sip on than a regular espresso shot.

With that said, you can order Keto Espresso Macchiato at Starbucks by asking for:

    • Doppio Espresso Macchiato
    • With heavy cream instead of 2% milk
    • And you can use some Whole Earth packets to sweeten it up too

Ordered this way, the drink will only have 1 carb and cost $2.75. Also, keep in mind, the doppio size has 2 shots of espresso, and I think it's the perfect amount. But, if you want a little less caffeine, order a solo, and if you want a little more, order a triple.

    28. Keto Blonde Vanilla Latte

A hand holding a cup of Starbucks keto blonde vanilla latte.

Like the iced version we went over earlier, you can turn a hot Blonde Vanilla Latte keto at Starbucks by just making a few simple substitutions. And this is definitely one of my favorite hot keto Starbucks drinks.

So, to make this drink keto, just order:

    • A Grande Blonde Vanilla Latte
    • With almond milk or heavy cream (instead of 2% milk)
    • Substitute the vanilla syrup for 2 pumps of sugar free vanilla syrup
    • & Add some Whole Earth packets if you need more sweetness

Although the iced version is delicious, I prefer the hot one because of the milk foam.

Having said that, if you order the latte like this, it'll end up being 5 Carbs, and cost $4.75.

    29. Keto Cinnamon Dolce Latte

A hand holding a cup of Starbucks keto cinnamon dolce latte.

One of the most popular drinks at Starbucks - especially during the winter - has to be the Cinnamon Dolce Latte. And if you've ever tried it, you know why.

This drink is loaded with deliciousness, but the regular one is also loaded with carbs and sugar. But not to worry, you can make it keto and still get all the cinnamon dolce flavor!

    To do this, order:

    • A Grande Cinnamon Dolce Latte
    • Make sure to ask for NO whipped cream and NO cinnamon dolce sprinkles.
    • Substitute the 2% milk with almond milk or heavy cream
    • & substitute the cinnamon dolce syrup for 3-4 pumps of sugar free vanilla syrup. To add the cinnamon flavor, ask for a generous sprinkle of regular cinnamon to get mixed into the drink.

Now, Starbucks doesn't offer the sugar free cinnamon dolce syrup anymore, which really stinks because the sugar free cinnamon dolce syrup was the most delicious sugar free syrups. So make sure you ask for the sprinkle of cinnamon in the drink!

Oh, and a little pro tip to replace the cinnamon dolce sprinkles - use a packet of Whole Earth sweetener and mix it with a little bit of ground cinnamon. Then you can sprinkle this cinnamon sugar mixture on top of your latte.

Order it this way, and your Cinnamon Dolce Latte will have 5 net carbs and cost $4.95. This is a super specific order, so you won't be able to do it on the app.

    30. Caramel Macchiato

The caramel macchiato is one of Starbucks most beloved drinks. And it might seem like you can't have it on the keto diet, but with this little hack you can!

Here's how to order a keto caramel macchiato at Starbucks:

    • Grande caramel macchiato
    • Ask for almond milk
    • With 3 pumps of sugar free vanilla syrup
    • Light drizzle of caramel sauce on top

If you order it like this, it will come out to 4 net carbs for $4.15.

With that said though, if you want to make your Starbucks macchiato to have next to 0 carbs, you can use my homemade sugar free caramel sauce to top it off, or you could even use this 0 carb one by Walden Farms.

Also, if you'd like to make this delicious drink at home, I have a keto friendly recipe for it up on the blog. So, give that a look if you want to save some money and make it yourself!

    Keto Starbucks Food

Along with your low carb drink, you can also get a little keto snacky snack at Starbucks.

And most of the ones you'll find there have 1 net carb or less!

    31. Cheddar Moon Cheese

    A bag of moon cheese.

Starbucks also carries these great Moon Cheese snacks that have under 5 net carbs per bag! They have a super cheesy flavor with a satisfying crunch. Gah, they're so good! You can pick these up near the counter for $4.95.

    32. Starbucks String Cheese

A hand holding a stick of string cheese.

Also available at Starbucks are these great sticks of string cheese! Each stick costs $1.25 and has just 1 carb.

    33. Babybel cheese wheel

A hand hold an individually wrapped cheese wheel.

Lastly – and I mentioned these in my Walmart Haul too – I highly recommend grabbing a couple of these convenient little cheese wheels.  They have absolutely no carbs, and cost less than $1.00! Seriously, they make the perfect on the go keto snack!

    34. Squirrel brand classic almonds

A hand holding a package of almonds.

You can find these almonds typically by the cash register at Starbucks. They're dry roasted, and the only ingredients are almonds & sea salt! An entire package has just 4 net carbs and costs $2.25.

    35. Creminelli Sopressata Uncured Salami and Monterey Jack Cheese Plate

A hand holding a Creminelli Sopressata with uncured Italian salami and Monterey Jack cheese snack tray.

This meat and cheese plate is an excellent savory, salty snack to go with your keto Starbucks drink – especially because it has 0 net carbs! It costs $5.95 at Starbucks.

FAQS ABOUT THIS KETO STARBUCKS LIST

How do you order a keto friendly drink at Starbucks?

To order a keto friendly drink at Starbucks, there are three main adjustments that you'll want to make. The first is you'll want to order your drink with almond milk or heavy cream since these are the lowest in carbs. Second, make sure you either ask for sugar free vanilla syrup, or use a zero calorie sweetener to sweeten your drink without adding any sugar. Third, make sure that your drink doesn't come with anything added like whipped cream.

How do I order a Starbucks vanilla keto latte?

The vanilla latte is by far my favorite drink at Starbucks. And it's actually super easy to order a vanilla keto latte! All you have to do is order it with almond milk or heavy cream instead of the 2% that comes in it and substitute the vanilla syrup for sugar free vanilla syrup.

By the way, I've got a really tasty iced vanilla latte recipe that's keto friendly, and also super low in calories. So, if you want to save yourself a little bit of money and calories, I highly recommend giving that a look sometime!

Can you drink Starbucks while on keto?

Yes, you can absolutely drink Starbucks while on keto. You just need to know how to order your favorite drinks in a sugar free and low carb way. If you follow the tips I discussed above, you can order any drink from Starbucks that you want and have it be keto friendly!

    More Keto Lists

So this keto Starbucks haul is just one of the many low carb hauls and taste tests I've been doing over at my Youtube channel. And you can catch the video version of my Starbucks haul along with everything else on my Youtube channel!

I've also done Keto at Taco Bell, Keto at McDonald's, Keto at Walmart, Keto at Chipotle, and even Keto at Subway! I highly recommend checking those out for more quick and easy keto options for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or travel.

And for the best low carb beers you can buy - and the best keto bread options - I've made a list of those too.

By the way, Starbucks doesn't have a keto hot chocolate or a keto pumpkin spice latte on the menu, but I've got recipes for both of those on the blog. So, check those out if you're in the mood for either of those drinks.

I hope this list and my pro-tips help you go further in your keto journey. And, of course, let me know in the comments what your favorite keto Starbucks drinks are or if you've tried any on this list

Just a note, the Starbucks double shot on ice is actually 2 shots of espresso for a tall, 3 for grande and 5 for a venti! The name double shot comes from the tall size, which is the original size it came in 😊 (not an issue when it comes to carbs but if someone is watching their caffeine intake!)

Thanks for all the suggestions! I’m the coffee maker at my work place! I put Lily’s chocolate chips (has a salt caramel chocolate chips that are to die for!) on the bottom of the cup along with the sugar free syrups (sugar free caramel is lovely) then top it off with coffee to melt the chocolate. I then add heavy cream and sugar free whipped cream which both Publix and Walmart carry in a can or I make my own homemade.
Also Lily’s has limited addition flavors right now - pumpkin spice flavor (so so so good!!! - I’m going back to the store and buying them out tomorrow lol!) , and mint chocolate chip which my son loves.
I give out your site to everyone because I the info you give out is accurate and your recipes are always delicious.
      Thanks for all you do!

You can also sub SF cinnamon dulce syrup for the vanilla when ordering the white tea (which right now is showing out of season) and it taste like horchata!

Hi! I’ve been a barista at Starbucks going on 8 years! Theses are all great recipes!!

Another great one is the “Keto Cinnamon Dolce Latte”, it a yummy hot drink!

      To order:
1.Ask for a tall Skinny Cinnamon Dolce Latte, Made with heavy cream (I get a few extra shots, I would recommend 1/2 hot water, 1/2 heavy cream if not).
      2. Ask for 2 pumps skinny Cinnamon Dole and 2 pumps Skinny Vanilla (standers is only 3 pumps skinny conn dolce syrup. I add skinny vanilla because I think it’s yummier that way).
      3. Ask them to top it with cinnamon powder (Most baristas will top it with the cinnamon dolce topping, which the recipe calls for, which is simply a 50/50 mixture of cinnamon and sugar. You don’t want that!!)

      Enjoy!

I love this list! Thank you for making it! I'd like to add that you need to ask to read the label of the alternative milks that your local Starbucks has before you use them. When I first started keto I thought I was clever by using coconut milk in one of my drinks, only to find out that the milk was sweetened with cane sugar. I only found that out due to my body reacting to the drink that I had been having for ages (minus milk/coconut milk) and I hadn't previously had a reaction to it. I asked to see their carton of coconut milk and sure enough, the second ingredient was cane sugar. So just because it isn't dairy doesn't mean it's safe at Starbucks, they like to try to sneak sugar in any way they can.

Working at starbucks and also on Keto, I think this list really streamlines all the ketoers that come in! One thing though the peach Citrus white tea was discontinued sadly, in place of that I like to ask for a iced peach tranquility(same concept as joe mentioned with the chai we have a tea bag Version witch is different from our peach juice) with 1 pump of SF vanilla, a splash of heavy cream and 2 stevia(another small side note we recently switched over our stevia to stevia in the raw). Not a big deal just wanted everyone who cares about that stuff to know!

I always get a grande restretto americano, with a couple pumps of sugar free vanilla and 2 splashes of heavy cream. Restretto means they pull the espresso shot out before the very end which is the bitter part. So you’re left with a creamy delicious coffee, which is what good coffee SHOULD taste like! Love all these new suggestions!

Can someone please explain to me why Starbucks Cold Brew coffee has 3 grams of carbs. It’s black coffee, no sweetener or milk/cream. Just to clarify it’s not the Nitro. The one I am referring to is the one sold in supermarkets in a large bottle (over 1 litre in size). Anyone that can clarify is much appreciated!

My favorite was their SF Cinnamon dolce syrup but they’ve unfortunately discontinued it. I was told permanently but I bet if enough people request it’s return, corporate could possibly bring it back. Our only option at Starbucks is the SF vanilla now. I’m shook because I’m not a big fan of vanilla.
